Best of Pierce County celebrates the businesses, people, and organizations that help make Tacoma and the greater Pierce County area such a distinctive place to call home.

With Mount Rainier rising above the region and Puget Sound shaping its western edge, Pierce County is known for remarkable natural beauty. But what truly gives the area its character are the communities found throughout it, from Tacoma’s waterfront, neighborhoods, and thriving arts scene to the cities and towns that each bring something unique to the region.

At the heart of those communities are local businesses and people who keep Pierce County moving forward. Restaurants bring people together, retailers add personality to neighborhoods, and professionals across countless industries provide the services residents rely on every day. Best of Pierce County celebrates those that have earned the trust, loyalty, and support of the people they serve.

Now in its third year, Best of Pierce County continues to grow. More than 5,300 businesses, organizations, and individuals competed across 215 categories, generating over 272,000 votes, a 77 percent increase year over year. The tremendous participation reflects the pride Pierce County residents have in supporting their local favorites and recognizing those that contribute to the quality of life throughout the region.

Producing a program of this size takes a dedicated local team, committed businesses, supportive advertisers, and an engaged community. We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who nominated, voted, advertised, and helped make this year’s Best of Pierce County possible.
